Penn’s new head men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery W’82 watches over his team’s first official practice of the 2025–26 season in late September. A former Penn player and longtime coach at Iowa, McCaffery was hired in March to replace Steve Donahue and restore the Quakers’ place at the top of the Ivy League.
