Volunteers from Penn Veterinary Medicine, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2009, marked the Martin Luther King Day of Service in January by conducting a pet vaccination clinic. More than 100 dogs and cats received free vaccinations and physical exams, intended to help reduce the incidence of rabies and other preventable infectious diseases among pets.
