BOSTON-based photographer Michael Malyszko C’73 and poet Judith Hughes CW’73 took their two dogs with them to Paris and came away with enough off-beat material to fill a rhyming photo album. betty and rita go to paris (Chronicle Books) tracks the canines’ adventures from boulangerie to boutique in the City of Light. With a little dogged persistence, the couple got permission from the locals to photograph in some places typically off limits to les chiens, including Jim Morrison’s grave site.
