BOSTON-based photographer Michael Malyszko C’73 and poet Judith Hughes CW’73 took their two dogs with them to Paris and came away with enough off-beat material to fill a rhyming photo album. betty and rita go to paris (Chronicle Books) tracks the canines’ adventures from boulangerie to boutique in the City of Light. With a little dogged persistence, the couple got permission from the locals to photograph in some places typically off limits to les chiens, including Jim Morrison’s grave site. Shown above are the fetching tourists in front of the Arc de Triomphe.
