A short distance from the Native American Voices exhibit now on display at the Penn Museum, back in 2011 on Homecoming Weekend the Association of Native Alumni and Natives at Penn held a special ceremony commemorating the Lenape land on which the then-newly opened Penn Park stands. Penn’s opponent in the Homecoming Game that year was Princeton, whose campus also resides on Lenape soil. (Penn won 37-9).
