In an art-and-performance project called Heart & Soul: The University City Public Piano Project, presented by the University City District June 7-17, eight artists decorated pianos that were then stationed on sidewalks and parks in the neighborhood around Penn and made available for anyone to play. This one, titled Coahoma, which stood outside 30th Street Station in a recently developed space called The Porch, is by Penn Professor of Fine Arts Terry Adkins. Edward Benckert is at the keyboard.
