As we were going to press, Mikaelyn Austin C’04 was just finishing up the final cut of The Palestra: Cathedral of Basketball, the documentary film about the hallowed hoops shrine that she has written, produced, and directed [“Homage to a Cathedral of Hoops,” Nov/Dec 2004]. In addition to a Philadelphia premiere at an as-yet-undetermined location in mid-October, Austin will have a DVD available by Homecoming Weekend (October 27-28), and if all goes well she will have nailed down deals with a number of broadcasting venues, too.
