Houston. On Sept. 25, at 6pm, we will host our third annual First September event to welcome recent graduates and old friends at The Tasting Room-River Oaks (2409 W Alabama St.). Northern California. Our exciting fall events include PennCares community-service events, our Club and interviewer socials in October, and our Classes of ’89—’94 Social on Nov. 5. Philippines. Our First September event will be held on Fri., Sept. 26, at 6pm, at the Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City. We will have a presentation on the power-energy situation in the Philippines by Dr. Alan Ortiz, followed by a panel discussion with executives of affected industries. We will also have Mike Hugel of the Wharton Global Alumni Relations Program as a guest.

Portland. The Club’s annual First September Happy Hour will be held on Sept. 23. Our fall luncheon will be held in late October, and our third annual holiday wine-tasting in December. Details of these and other events are on our website, www.pennclubofportland.org.

San Diego. Join us for First September at Petco Park on Sept. 16. We meet at 6pm at a nearby restaurant before heading to the Park for the Padres-Phillies game at 7:10pm. Singapore. The Penn and Wharton Alumni Club of Singapore welcomes you to connect with alumni here. Look out for an event with Mike Milken WG’70, a charity drive for our sponsored charity Aidha, a joint annual Thanksgiving dinner, and a bowling challenge with other university clubs.
