Penn President Emerita Judith Rodin CW’66 Hon’04 has accepted the presidency of the Rockefeller Foundation in New York, starting next March. One of the world’s oldest private philanthropies, it works to eradicate poverty and hunger; tackle diseases such as HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis; increase affordable housing; and support the arts. In September, Rodin was in town to accept the Philadelphia Award for her accomplishments at Penn (“Gazetteer,” July/August).—S.F.
