Penn’s Institute of Contemporary Art is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year (see story). These past Gazette covers highlight two of the locations the ICA has occupied during that period-its home when it opened in 1963 in what is now the Fisher Fine Arts Library, and the museum’s current purpose-built digs at 36th and Sansom streets, where it’s been since 1991. In between, it had space in Meyerson Hall, home of the School of Design.
