On September 15, join the PennNYC community in welcoming our most recent Penn grads to New York City! There will be an opportunity to meet the board of PennNYC, mingle with fellow Penn alums (both old and new!), and learn more about how you can build community with us. Let’s come together and toast to dear old Ben! This free event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at an address to be determined. Check www.penn.nyc for updates. Then, on September 17, the PennNYC Community Service team is hosting our first meal service volunteer event since March 2020. We’ll be working with the Carter Burden Network again, preparing and serving nutritious meals to senior citizens at the Carter Burden Network’s Senior Center, located at 312 East 109th Street. This event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and due to the ongoing pandemic, only eight volunteers are allowed.
