A new student-run bike-sharing program, PennCycle, launched as a pilot program back in March. For a $10 subscription fee for the Spring 2012 semester, students, faculty, and staff are able to rent bikes (helmets and locks included) from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. For now, the only check-out station is at Hill College House, but plans call for more locations in the Quad and high-rises in the future. Here, PennCycle manager Jenny Xia C’14 takes a ride.
