Jan|Feb 2013 1933 Grace Hehr Laucks EF’33, Ephrata, Pa., a retired head bookkeeper with Orr & Sembower, Inc.; Sept. 4. 1934 Edward A. Doelp W’34, Burke, Va., Oct. 14. Dr. Elias M. Solomon M’34, Lancaster, Pa., retired chief of staff at the old St. Joseph’s Hospital; Sept. 6. During World War II, he served in the US Army. 1936 Leo B. Morse W’36, Hernando, Fla., July 9, 2011. At Penn, he was a member of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity, and the men’s baseball, soccer, and lacrosse teams. 1937 Peter Day W’37, Philadelphia, former vice president of the Kenya division of Day and Frick Inc.; June 20. At Penn, he was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and the men’s squash team. Julian B. Finkel ME’37, Atlanta, former general manager of Blair Manufacturing; Sept. 29. Artis C’39 D’41, Haddonfield, N.J., a retired dentist who had maintained a practice in Camden for over 50 years; April 1.
