The Wharton School is pushing south. Construction is underway on a 65,000-square-foot building that will connect with Steinberg-Dietrich Hall and expand the school’s footprint to the edge of Spruce Street. The five-story structure will feature a triangular plan meant to facilitate the restoration of Woodland Walk between 36th and 37th streets. It will contain classrooms, group-study rooms, research centers, and conference rooms. The design is by MGA Partners, a Philadelphia-based firm whose principals include University alumnae Mary Keefe WG’81 and Katie Broh GAr’96.
